Top 10 Things You Can Do To Change For The Better

Aloha!

You’ve heard it before.  This is not anything new.  But still you’re not following the advise of 100s maybe 1000s of illuminated ones.

Watch what you say to yourself and think about yourself.  WHY Do you ask?  I hope you do.

Your subconscious mind believes EVERYTHING you say and think.

I’m not going to try to prove this to you or give you any examples.  The evidence is already overwhelming on a mental, physical and spiritual level. OVERWHELMING.  It’s true.  It’s fact.  Believe it or don’t up to you.  Here’s 10 things.

1. Never say “I have to lose some weight”  Replace this with “I am getting rid of weight”

Why?  Is losing things good? NO!  Enough said.

2. Look in the mirror, LOOK IN THE MIRROR!!! And say “I Love You” 10 times, I dare you.  Let me know what happens.

3. Never say “I can’t do this _________” Replace with “I presently struggle with ________ but I’m getting better at ___________all the time.”

4. Look for someone to help.  Doesn’t matter who just get into service.   Better if it’s someone you don’t like.  Shoot for once a day.

5. Read 2 pages a day out of a book or a blog or something you would NEVER consider reading.  Do it for 10 days and see what happens.

6. You know how everyone says, “If you don’t like something about someone it’s probably a mirror for something you don’t like about yourself.”  Ya you know you’ve heard it and you probably said it too.  Think about this for awhile,  “If you DO like something about someone it’s probably a mirror for something you DO like about yourself.”

7. Don’t look at your cell phone when you’re with your kids – LOOK AT YOUR KIDS!!!

8. Just for 1 day only, 1 day drink half your body weight in ounces of water.  So if you weight 200 drink lbs., 100 ozs of water.  Just 1 day.  Try it.

9. Give 10 compliments today.

10. When someone gives you a compliment tell them that they are correct!

It’s Too Good To Be True

Aloha!http:go90grow.com
Tony Robbins says that fear and anger are the two things that stop us all from moving forward to our bliss.

http://go90grow.comJoseph Campbell tell us to follow our bliss.

Mark Januszewski says the successful person SIMPLY does the things the unsuccessful person makes a conscious decision not to do.

Emmet Fox tells us we think something is too good to be true; but trouble never surprises us. We http://go90grow.comregret it, but we do not think it is to bad to be true.

How true and profound is that, Emmet Fox rocks that shit!!!!  If I am successful in combining that and Joseph Campbell mixed with a little Haanel and The Master Key System and I’m good to go!!!

Ya so no wonder fear and anger stop us, we always believe that the bad is true.  You’ve said it, I’ve said it, everyone has said it.  It’s not a common saying for nothing.  We never fail to believe “It’s to good to be true” and always believe that it’s not to bad to be true.  So sad.  When you hear bad news you don’t say “Oh that to bad to be true”  right THINK about it….

No wonder we can’t follow our bliss, so much is in the way.

We must make a conscious decision to do the things that successful people do.  We must control our thoughts.

The creator gave us control of only 1 thing!!!  Think about it.  There is only one thing we really have control over.  Our thoughts.  Don’t you think it’s pretty important if it’s the ONLY thing you really have control of.   Duh if you don’t.

http://go90grow.comSo the Seven Day Mental Diet goes on because I am determined to have control of my thoughts (most of the time anyway).  Yesterday I found myself rehearsing a grudge in my head, this was old and I will NEVER see or speak to this person again and yet I am rehearsing some inane, fake conversation in my http://go90grow.comhead on how I am going to tell this person off.  HA!  How ridiculous.  So I stop myself and change my thoughts to the things that I want in my life.  Like our upcoming visit from my daughter Jackie and Derek’s (Mark’s son)  kids, our grandchildren.  Dylan, Ali and Zoe.  YEAH!!!!! So excited!!!!

There are so many things that I want in my life that it’s easy to change my mind and think of those instead.  Mark always says it takes only 1/1 billionth of a volt to change my mind.  Easy!

Then why is it so difficult to stay positive.  I found out it’s practice, it’s habit.  Just like the body if you work it it will get better.  The mind is the same way, it’s just the most people don’t want to do the work..  make a conscious decision to do the work.
Well I’m doing it.  Yesterday you would not have known that, we have the big G090Grow Launch today, plus a bout with PMS AND a couple of business partners that are not doing what they are supposed to do.  That is a recipe for Davene to go off Lynn style and sadly I did.  Ah well progress not perfection.  Everyday and in every way I’m getting better and better.

Day 7 – The Seven Day Mental Diet

Aloha!!!

It’s been a week!  I can’t believe it!!!

Someone up there KNEW I was doing this, the reason I know this is there have been multiple challenges to my positive mental status.  I will NOT bore you with the details because, as my wonderful husband, Mark Januszewski, The World’s Laziest Networker, would say, “That would be giving power to the things I DON’T want to think about…”

The bottom line is that I didn’t stay positive for more that 1 day in a row 🙁

Actually one day I was so negative that I thought I was having an anxiety attach (I wasn’t).  You see we are relaunching our phenom product Go90Grow and I realized that I thought it was 4 weeks away and it’s 2 weeks away AND on top of that they voted Colton off – how is that possible!!!  No kidding…  But what I can’t believe is the 52,000,000 people voted on American Idol and no once cares that our children are being polluted with Genetically Modified food.  Now that’s negative.  I am so disappointed by that fact the GMO not Colton.

http://go90grow.netYes, and I am being negative about an entire population  of an entire country – “redonkulous” as my daughter Dayna would say.

So I decided to get positive and do whatever I can to change the things that I don’t like…  When to the website The Future of Food and got involved.  I have vowed to spend 10 minutes each day doing my part to make our country a better place.  And that feels good.

Now today I am going to re-start my 7 Day Mental Diet – I’m starving!!!  Stayed tuned, leave a comment.

The Seven Day Mental Diet – Day 3

Aloha this wonderful morning.  The picture out my window is astounding.  It’s impossible for me to NOT believe that there is something bigger than me out there when I look at this beautiful world.

http://worldslaziestnetworker.com

Day 2 of The Seven Day Mental Diet was OK – I’m cutting myself some slack…

It’s funny that I decided to start The Seven Day Mental Diet on the day that I just wrote huge checks to the IRS.  Paying taxes is NOT my favorite thing, I might go so far as to say I have disdain for this activity.   Only because I am not so sure that these funds are going where they should.  I don’t pay much attention to the news but I hear that members of Congress and Senators seem to take more than their fair share.  When I write a check I like to know where the dough going and the checks I just wrote are a mystery to me.

Not being negative about that was tricky, but I think I did it.

During this challenge of attempting to be positive all the time, I am realizing my back slide of the last few months.  The Go90Grow launch & a subsequent consulting job kept me busy and I slacked off.  Things seemed to be going so well my subconscious decided I didn’t have to do the work anymore.  HA!  Wrong!!!

Generally I would read and meditate every morning and I have fallen off of that practice.  🙁  Boy does it make a difference.  So back on the meditation wagon.  Can’t recommend it enough even if it’s just for 5 minutes – although I shoot for 15 of total silent meditation.  It’s amazing what will happen.

One must believe there is a higher power in the universe, right.  I mean can you really think human beings are the top of the food chain, no there IS a higher power.  Something is out there right?  Ya, for me there totally is.  I know I am not the one in control.  AND if I contact and harness the power for good, to be in service by controlling my thoughts, and then put that above all else. I can do anything with my life that I choose.

Divine Power, Higher Power, Divine Energy, Universal Energy, God, Father…  For me God is just easier.

Over the years I have tried and tried to come into contact with this Power and I have found the only real way is through quiet, earnest meditation.  Emmet Fox, the amazing author I was turned onto by my wonderful husband, Mark Januszewski, The World’s Laziest Networker,  tells me today to say “I believe in the power of God, I believe God is interested in me and that I can contact that Power to comfort me, heal me, enlighten me, purify me.  I believe God is working through me to solve all.

This helps me with The Seven Day Mental Diet.

Day 1 of The Seven Day Mental Diet

Aloha to no one. 🙁   That’s right NO ONE!

I guess no one is reading my blog.  Which I don’t blame you.   I have not written anything in a long, long time and I did not have that many readers anyway.

I am a little disappointed that no one is joining me on The Seven Day Mental Diet.  🙁

That’s OK – I have to restart today anyway.

I bashed a couple of parents at the beach yesterday.  I was enjoying myself with my wonderful husband, Mark Januszewski, The World’s Laziest Networker.  And everything was going along fine then I had to start passing judgement of these poor people that were just enjoying themselves on vacation in Kauai on a beautiful beach.  So I gotta start again.

Then today I was going over some Go90Grow accounting – well just forget me being positive about that….  well for now.  I presently struggle with accounting but I am getting better and better everyday.

The Amazing Jackie

So it’s not been a total success but I’m on my way to a grand and better life.  Although to quote

my daughter Jackie, “Your life is a fairytale.”  I have to agree but it’s going to get even better.

It’s Been So Long – 7 Days to a New Life

Yes, it’s been a long time since I wrote a blog. My husband, The World’s Laziest Networker, Mark Januszewski, he blogs all the time. He’s a excellent writer. Not an excellent speller, as so many like to remind him, but an excellent writer.

People’s need to judge someone on their spelling ability is a mystery to me. Oh yes they say, “It’s for your own good, people will think your stupid and unworthy if you don’t spell correctly.” So, they wrap themselves in virtue while they criticize. I’m not fooled.

Well guess what, I don’t give a crap about those people. They can just go on judging and not taking responsibility for their own lives. As long as your busy looking at everyone else you never have to look at your own junk.. And to quote a very wise character, who probably didn’t spell well, Forest Gump, that’s all I have to say about that.

So now after airing that for today, I start my 7 day mental diet. Living in a country obsessed with diets it’s amazing to me that virtually no one is interested in the mental diet.

Honestly I’m not sure I can do a 7 day mental diet. Make up my mind to devote one week solely to the task of building a new habit of thought, and during that week let everything in life be unimportant as compared with that. This will without a doubt change my life forever. Here’s the prescription if you’re interested in joining me.

For seven days I must NOT allow myself to dwell for a single moment on any kind of negative thought. I must watch myself for a whole week as a cat watches a mouse, and I must not under any pretense allow my mind to dwell on any though that is not positive, constructive, optimistic and kind.

This discipline will be so strenuous that I could not maintain it consciously for much more that a week.

A week will be enough, because by that time the habit of positive thinking will begin to be established. Some extraordinary changes for the better will come into my life encouraging and enormously, and then the future will take care of itself. The new way of life will be so attractive and so much easier than the old way that my mind will find my mentality aligning almost automatically.

Dieting, eating right and the most strenuous exercise are child’s play compared with the 7 day mental diet. If you join me you’ll see I am correct.

A WARNING: DO NOT START THIS LIGHTLY!!! Think about it for a day before you decide. Don’t let this be one of those many, many things you start and never finish.

The whole idea is to have seven days of unbroken mental discipline in order to get the mind definitely bent in a new direction once and for all.

If you do start and for any reason “fall off” the mental wagon. Drop the diet altogether for a few days, and then start again fresh.

So what is not positive thinking you may ask, that’s easy. Any thought of failure, disappointment, trouble of any kind, criticism, cynicism, spite, jealousy sickness, accident any kind of limitation or pessimistic thinking. Any thought that is not positive or constructive in character, whether it concerns you or anyone else. But don’t worry to much about this, you’ll never have any trouble figuring out whether a thought is negative or positive. Even if you brain tries to deceive you, your heart will whisper the truth.

When a negative thought enters your mind immediately turn to something positive. Have something ready, some happy memory or some dream you wish to achieve think of that instead. For more info on this if you are a member of Go90Grow do the Think and Grow Rich Challenge. If not definitely check out the course, there are a bunch of testimonials on this page Go90Grow. It’s a life changer!!!

I highly recommend turning off the TV, avoiding all the negative people in your life. You know you can simply get up and leave if you want to. Take responsibility for yourself and do what’s best for you!

Emmet Fox’s cinder analogy may help. A man is sitting by a fire, a cinder lands on his sleeve. If he knock it off at once, without a moments delay to think about it, no harm is done. If he allows it to rest on him for a single moment, under any pretense, the mischief is done. So is it with a negative thought. You would NEVER let a cinder burn you, you’d jump to brush it off yet you’ll let negative thoughts burn giant holes in your life. Think about it…

If you are in earnest and wish to join me just comment below.  Let us know when you’ll begin, if you fall off, when you’ll restart – it helps us all so much to share.

I would love the hear your progress and ups and downs to help me along my path. Just bookmark this page or subscribe to the blog and come back and let me know how your doing!
